MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Forestdale, RI, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran who receives care at VA facilities is screened annually for obesity, enabling effective referrals to personalized weight management solutions that cater to individual needs and preferences. We offer a variety of options, including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and in-home support through TeleMOVE!, as well as the MOVE! Coach mobile app for those who prefer to manage their weight independently. For Veterans who have faced challenges with weight loss despite participating in MOVE!, we also provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery when appropriate.
