Rhode Island WIC, located in Foster, is dedicated to supporting low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, along with infants and children up to five years old, by fostering healthy eating habits. Our program offers vital nutrition education, supplemental food assistance, breastfeeding promotion, and essential referrals to medical and social services in the community. In light of COVID-19, Rhode Island WIC remains committed to serving families while ensuring the safety of clients and staff. We have adapted our services to include remote assistance and benefit delivery through eWIC cards.
