MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Foster, RI, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through a comprehensive weight management and health promotion approach. Our mission is to screen all Veterans receiving care at VA facilities for obesity each year, connecting them to personalized weight management services that cater to their individual needs. We offer a variety of options to support sustainable weight loss, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! for in-home assistance. For those who prefer a more independent approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who continue to face challenges despite participating in MOVE!.
