The Independent Aging and Living Support Services Program in Greene, RI, is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seniors in Washington County, East & West Greenwich, and Jamestown. Our mission revolves around providing essential transportation to healthcare appointments and grocery stores, as well as reliable food delivery and Meals on Wheels services to ensure no one faces hunger. We also prioritize the emotional well-being of our seniors by offering companionship visitations for those who may feel isolated. In addition to these vital services, we assist with minor home repairs, yard clean-up, and snow removal for residents aged 90 and above who lack family support. Partnering with the RI State Division of Elderly Affairs, we empower senior volunteers aged 60 and above to participate in the Senior Companion Program, allowing them to give back to the community while receiving a stipend for their commitment. We are here to support our seniors with care and compassion, ensuring they live independently and with dignity.
