Rhode Island WIC is dedicated to supporting low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years of age, by promoting healthy food habits through our vital supplemental food program. We offer nutrition education, provide essential supplemental foods, promote breastfeeding, and connect families to necessary medical and social services within the Greene, RI community. In response to COVID-19, we continue to serve our clients with remote services and by mailing benefits or adding them to eWIC cards, ensuring the health and safety of both clients and staff. Families are encouraged to reach out to their local WIC clinics for personalized assistance and to learn more about these essential services.
