About Rhode Island WIC - COVID 19 Special Procedures
Located in Hopkinton, Rhode Island, the Women, Infants, and Children Supplemental Food Program (WIC) is dedicated to promoting healthy nutrition among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. We offer vital services including nutrition education, supplemental foods, breastfeeding support, and referrals to essential medical and social services within the community. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Rhode Island WIC has adapted its operations to ensure the safety of our clients and staff by providing remote services and securely mailing benefits or enhancing eWIC cards.
