Rhode Island WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) is dedicated to enhancing the health and nutrition of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as children from birth to five years of age. Our mission is to promote healthy food habits through vital services that include nutrition education, access to supplemental foods, breastfeeding support, and referrals to essential medical and social services within the community. In response to COVID-19, we have adapted our operations to prioritize the safety of our clients and staff, offering remote services and the convenience of mailing benefits or adding them to eWIC cards.
