Independent Aging and Living Support Services Program

Southern Rhode Island Volunteers

The Independent Aging and Living Support Services Program in Kingston, RI, is dedicated to enhancing the lives of seniors in Washington County, East and West Greenwich, and Jamestown. Our mission is to provide critical support through services such as transportation to healthcare appointments and grocery stores, as well as food delivery and Meals on Wheels. We understand the importance of connection, which is why we also offer visitation services for isolated individuals. Additionally, for seniors aged 90 and above, we provide assistance with minor home repairs, yard clean-up, and snow removal when family support is unavailable. We work closely with the RI State Division of Elderly Affairs to facilitate the Senior Companion Program, enabling seniors aged 60 and above to give back to their communities while receiving a stipend for their commitment. Our goal is to empower seniors to maintain their independence and quality of life through compassionate, practical services.
