Rhode Island WIC is dedicated to fostering healthy nutritional habits among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children from birth to five years old. Our mission is to provide essential food assistance, including nutritious supplemental foods, expert nutrition education, and unwavering breastfeeding support. Additionally, we connect families with vital medical and social services in the Lincoln, RI community. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have adapted our services to ensure the safety of our clients and staff, offering remote assistance and an efficient system for mailing benefits or enhancing eWIC cards. Families in need are encouraged to reach out to their local WIC clinics for guidance on accessing necessary services during these challenging times.
