Rhode Island WIC serves the Little Compton community by providing essential food assistance and nutrition education to low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our mission is to foster healthy food habits through the delivery of supplemental foods, breastfeeding support, and referrals to vital medical and social services. In response to COVID-19, we've adapted our services to ensure the safety of our clients and staff, offering remote consultations and mailing benefits or enhancing eWIC cards for ease of access. Families in need are encouraged to reach out to their local WIC clinics for information on how to access our comprehensive support services during these challenging times.
