About Independent Aging and Living Support Services Program
At the Independent Aging and Living Support Services Program in Manville, RI, we are dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seniors in our community, including residents of Washington County, East & West Greenwich, and Jamestown. Our mission is to provide essential transportation services for healthcare appointments and grocery shopping, as well as food delivery through Meals on Wheels. We also offer friendly visitations to combat isolation and ensure our seniors feel connected. Additionally, we assist with limited minor home repairs, yard clean-up, and snow removal for those 90 years or older who lack family support. In collaboration with the RI State Division of Elderly Affairs, we facilitate the placement of senior volunteers in the Senior Companion Program, recognizing their valuable contribution with stipends for their service commitment. Our focus is on fostering independence and support for seniors, enabling them to live with dignity and connection in their own homes.
