Located in Manville, RI, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened for obesity each year and connected to tailored weight management solutions that align with their unique needs and preferences. We offer a range of options, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! program, which provides in-home messaging and clinician support. For those who prefer self-guided approaches, our MOVE! Coach mobile app is available to assist in their weight management journey. In cases where additional support is necessary, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans facing ongoing challenges.
