The Independent Aging and Living Support Services Program in Mapleville, RI, is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seniors in Washington County, East & West Greenwich, and Jamestown. Our mission is to provide essential food assistance, accessible transportation to healthcare appointments and grocery stores, meals on wheels delivery, and companionship for isolated individuals. We prioritize the needs of our elderly community by also offering support for minor home repairs, yard clean-up, and snow removal for those 90 and older without family assistance. Collaborating closely with the RI State Division of Elderly Affairs, we connect senior volunteers to meaningful roles in the Senior Companion Program, ensuring that they can give back while receiving a stipend for their commitment. Through these services, we strive to foster independence and community connection for our aging population.
