The MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Mapleville, RI, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through tailored weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity and connect them with effective weight management options that meet their individual needs and preferences. We offer a range of supportive services including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which provides in-home messaging and clinician contact. Veterans can also utilize the MOVE! Coach mobile app for independent weight management, as well as access weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for those who continue to face challenges after participating in MOVE!.
