The Independent Aging and Living Support Services Program in Middletown, RI, is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seniors in Washington County, East & West Greenwich, and Jamestown. Our mission focuses on providing vital food assistance, such as grocery store transportation, food delivery, and Meals on Wheels, alongside essential transportation to healthcare appointments. We also prioritize the emotional well-being of isolated individuals through friendly visitations. Additionally, our program offers support for minor home repairs, yard maintenance, and snow removal for seniors aged 90 and above without nearby family. In collaboration with the RI State Division of Elderly Affairs, we facilitate the Senior Companion Program for seniors aged 60 and over, empowering them to give back to the community while receiving a stipend for their service commitment. At our core, we strive to create a supportive environment that respects the dignity of our elderly residents and promotes their independence.
