The Community Health Network Program, part of the Rhode Island Parent Information Network (RIPIN), serves the vibrant community of Narragansett, RI by enabling individuals to access essential health resources through a centralized referral system. We prioritize connecting residents with evidence-based programs tailored to their unique health needs, fostering self-sufficiency and empowerment. Our offerings include comprehensive system navigation, personalized referrals, and a variety of health education classes and workshops, all aimed at promoting healthier lifestyles. We address a wide range of health conditions, including arthritis, pre-diabetes, diabetes, asthma, heart disease, depression, and tobacco use. Many of our classes are offered at no cost or a reduced fee, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to take charge of their health and well-being.
