At Independent Aging and Living Support Services Program in Narragansett, RI, we are dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for older adults in Washington County, East & West Greenwich, and Jamestown. We provide essential transportation services to healthcare appointments and grocery stores, ensuring that our seniors have reliable access to the resources they need. Our programs also include food delivery and Meals on Wheels services, bringing nutritious meals directly to those who may struggle to access food independently. We offer companionship visits to alleviate isolation and foster connections within our community. Additionally, we assist with minor home repairs, yard clean-up, and snow removal for seniors aged 90 and above who do not have family support, aiming to help them maintain their independence and well-being. In partnership with the RI State Division of Elderly Affairs, we also facilitate the Senior Companion Program, which empowers seniors to serve their peers while earning a stipend for their dedicated service. At our core, we believe in building a supportive and caring environment that promotes dignity, independence, and a sense of belonging for all older adults.
