Veggie Days, hosted at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center in Newport, RI, is dedicated to providing fresh produce free of charge to individuals and families in Newport County every Thursday during the growing season. Our program is fueled by a passion for food assistance and ensuring food security within our community. Each week, we source a variety of vegetables and produce from local partners, including the Aquidneck Grower's Market, the Rhode Island Community Food Bank, Jamestown Community Farm, as well as local gardens and private donations.
