The Independent Aging and Living Support Services Program in North Kingstown, RI, is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seniors in Washington County, East and West Greenwich, and Jamestown. Our program offers essential services such as transportation to healthcare appointments and grocery stores, as well as food delivery and Meals on Wheels to ensure that older adults receive the nourishment they need. We also provide companionship through regular visitations for isolated individuals, connecting them with caring volunteers. Additionally, we assist with minor home repairs, yard cleanup, and snow removal for seniors over 90 years old who lack family support. In collaboration with the Rhode Island State Division of Elderly Affairs, we facilitate opportunities for senior volunteers (60+) in the Senior Companion Program, offering a stipend for their valuable service. Our mission is to provide compassionate, practical support that empowers seniors to live independently and comfortably within their communities.
