The Independent Aging and Living Support Services Program in North Providence, RI is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seniors in Washington County, East and West Greenwich, and Jamestown. Our mission is to provide essential transportation to healthcare appointments and grocery stores, as well as food delivery through Meals on Wheels. We prioritize the well-being of isolated individuals by offering visitation services and support for caregivers. Additionally, we assist with minor home repairs, yard cleanup, and snow removal for seniors aged 90 and above who lack family support. In partnership with the RI State Division of Elderly Affairs, we facilitate the Senior Companion Program, inviting seniors aged 60 and older to volunteer and receive a stipend for their commitment to community service. Our services are designed to empower seniors to live independently and feel connected, ensuring they receive the care and support they deserve.
