The Rhode Island Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program is dedicated to fostering healthy nutrition habits for low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our mission is to provide vital nutrition education, supplemental foods, breastfeeding support, and connections to essential medical and social services in North Providence and beyond. In response to COVID-19, we have adapted our services to ensure the safety of our clients and staff, now offering remote consultations and mailing benefits directly to families or adding them to eWIC cards. Families can easily reach out to their local WIC clinics to inquire about how to access these important resources, ensuring that everyone can receive the assistance they need during these challenging times.
