The Independent Aging and Living Support Services Program in North Smithfield, RI, is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seniors in Washington County, East & West Greenwich, and Jamestown. Our mission is to ensure that older adults receive the assistance they need to live independently and comfortably in their own homes. We provide essential services such as transportation to healthcare appointments and grocery stores, as well as meals on wheels and food delivery to address food insecurity. Additionally, we offer companionship through visitation for those who may be feeling isolated. Our support extends to coordinating minor home repairs, yard clean-up, and snow removal for seniors aged 90 and above without family assistance. Through our partnership with the RI State Division of Elderly Affairs, we also facilitate the Senior Companion Program, engaging senior volunteers in valuable services while providing them with a stipend for their commitment. We are committed to making a positive impact on our community's senior citizens, ensuring they are supported and cared for.
