Rhode Island WIC is dedicated to ensuring the health and well-being of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, along with their infants and children up to five years old in North Smithfield and surrounding areas. Through our Women, Infants and Children Supplemental Food Program, we provide essential nutrition education, supplemental food benefits, breastfeeding support, and crucial referrals to medical and social services. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have adapted our services to prioritize safety, offering remote consultations and mailing benefits to clients.
