Rhode Island WIC is dedicated to enhancing the nutritional well-being of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our program focuses on promoting healthy eating habits through tailored nutrition education and providing supplemental food assistance to those in need. We also offer breastfeeding support and connect families to valuable medical and social services within the community. In response to COVID-19, Rhode Island WIC has adapted our services to ensure the safety of our clients and staff. We now offer remote services, enabling families to receive their benefits via mail or directly onto their eWIC cards.
