Be Safe, a compassionate initiative by Family Service of Rhode Island, works tirelessly to support the Portsmouth community by delivering essential supplies to those most in need during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our program is dedicated to providing emergency food assistance, fresh groceries, cleaning supplies, and personal protective equipment (PPE) to socially isolated seniors, individuals with chronic illnesses and disabilities, families with children, and others vulnerable to the virus. With a focus on safety, we ensure that every delivery is a no-contact experience, allowing our drivers to leave supplies at your doorstep while keeping you informed through a friendly phone call. Together, we are committed to creating a safer environment for all Rhode Islanders.
