The Independent Aging and Living Support Services Program in Portsmouth, RI, provides essential support for seniors in Washington County, East & West Greenwich, and Jamestown. We prioritize the well-being of older adults by offering vital transportation to healthcare appointments and grocery stores, as well as food delivery services including Meals on Wheels. Our compassionate visitation program ensures that isolated individuals have meaningful connections. Additionally, we assist with minor home repairs, yard clean-up, and snow removal for seniors aged 90 and above who lack family support. Collaborating with the RI State Division of Elderly Affairs, we also facilitate the Senior Companion Program, allowing seniors aged 60 and over to give back to their community while receiving a stipend for their dedicated service.
