The Diocese of Providence is a Roman Catholic church dedicated to fostering a vibrant community of faith in Rhode Island. Located at 1 Cathedral Square, Providence, it serves as a spiritual home for diverse groups, including local college students and residents. The principal mission of the church is to worship and encounter the living presence of Jesus through the Sacraments, with the Celebration of the Eucharist at the heart of parish life. The church provides regular services throughout the week, including Mass on weekends and Holy Days, welcoming all without fees—suggesting donations instead. By offering a supportive environment for worship and spiritual growth, the Diocese of Providence addresses communal needs and strengthens the social fabric of the area.
