MOVE! Weight Management Program, based in Providence, RI, is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to ensure that each Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened for obesity every year and directed toward appropriate weight management resources that suit their individual needs and preferences. We offer a variety of options, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and telehealth services through our TeleMOVE! program. For those who prefer an independent approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app provides a personalized path to weight management. Additionally, for Veterans facing ongoing challenges with weight, we offer access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery.
