MOVE! Weight Management Program on Prudence Island, RI, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission includes annually screening every Veteran in our care for obesity and ensuring they are connected to tailored weight management services that align with their needs and preferences. We offer diverse options such as group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which provides in-home support through messaging and clinician contact. For those who prefer a self-directed approach, our MOVE! Coach mobile app is available. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who require further assistance after engaging with our program.
