The Independent Aging and Living Support Services Program in Saunderstown, RI, is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for older adults in Washington County, East and West Greenwich, and Jamestown. We provide essential transportation services to healthcare appointments and grocery stores, as well as reliable food delivery, including Meals on Wheels. Our program also offers friendly visitations to combat isolation, and assists with minor home repairs, yard cleanup, and snow removal for seniors over 90 without family support. In collaboration with the Rhode Island State Division of Elderly Affairs, we empower senior volunteers aged 60 and above through the Senior Companion Program, rewarding their commitment to help others in the community. Our goal is to ensure that seniors can maintain their independence and stay connected, supported by a caring network of services.
