MOVE! Weight Management Program in Shannock, RI, is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion. Our mission is to screen every Veteran accessing care at VA facilities for obesity, ensuring they receive personalized referrals to appropriate weight management services. We offer a variety of options, including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which allows for in-home support tailored to individual needs. For those who prefer to take a self-directed approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app provides an accessible tool for weight management. Additionally, we understand that some Veterans may require more intensive support, which is why we also offer weight loss medications and bariatric surgery to those who continue to face challenges related to weight.
