The Independent Aging and Living Support Services Program, located in Slatersville, RI, is dedicated to enhancing the lives of seniors in Washington County, East and West Greenwich, and Jamestown. Our mission is to ensure that older adults can engage with their community while receiving the necessary support for independent living. We provide vital services such as transportation for healthcare appointments, grocery store outings, and food delivery, including Meals on Wheels, as well as friendly visitations to combat isolation. Additionally, we assist with minor home repairs, yard clean-up, and snow removal for seniors aged 90 and above who may lack family support. In collaboration with the RI State Division of Elderly Affairs, we also facilitate the Senior Companion Program, offering stipend opportunities for senior volunteers who commit to 15 to 20 hours of service each week. Our commitment is to empower seniors to live independently and with dignity in their own homes.
