At the Independent Aging and Living Support Services Program in Slocum, RI, we are dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seniors living in Washington County, East & West Greenwich, and Jamestown. Our mission focuses on providing essential services, including transportation to healthcare appointments and grocery stores, as well as food delivery and Meals on Wheels, ensuring that our elderly community has access to nutritious meals and necessary care. We also offer friendly visitation services for isolated individuals, support for minor home repairs, yard clean-up, and snow removal for those over 90 years old without family assistance. Collaborating with the RI State Division of Elderly Affairs, we help engage seniors in meaningful roles through our Senior Companion Program, offering stipends for those who commit their time to support others. By prioritizing connection and practical assistance, we strive to foster an inclusive environment for seniors to thrive in our community.
