Located in Slocum, RI, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and wellness of Veterans through effective weight management strategies. Our mission is to screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity and provide personalized referrals to various weight management services tailored to individual preferences and needs. We offer a range of supportive options, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and our innovative TeleMOVE! program that facilitates in-home messaging and clinician contact. Veterans can also utilize the MOVE! Coach mobile app for self-guided weight management. For those who continue to face challenges after engaging with MOVE!, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery.
