MOVE! Weight Management Program in Smithfield, RI, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission focuses on annually screening every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity, connecting them with tailored weight management resources that meet their unique needs. We offer a variety of options including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, TeleMOVE! for in-home support, and the MOVE! Coach mobile app for those who prefer independent management. For Veterans who continue to face weight challenges, we also provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery.
