Rhode Island WIC, located in Warren, RI, is dedicated to ensuring the health and nutrition of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Through our Women, Infants and Children Supplemental Food Program, we promote healthy eating and offer vital services such as nutrition education, supplemental foods, breastfeeding support, and referrals to essential medical and social services within the community. In response to COVID-19, we have adapted our operations to prioritize the safety of our clients and staff, providing remote services and mailing benefits directly to families or through eWIC cards.
