Located in Warwick, RI, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion initiatives. Our program is committed to annually screening every Veteran at VA facilities for obesity, providing personalized referrals to weight management services, and offering a range of treatment options tailored to the unique needs and preferences of our Veterans. MOVE! includes group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! service, which allows for in-home support and clinician contact as needed. For those who prefer a self-guided approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available, along with options for weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans facing persistent weight challenges.
