The Independent Aging and Living Support Services Program in West Greenwich, RI, is dedicated to enhancing the lives of seniors in Washington County, East & West Greenwich, and Jamestown. We provide essential transportation services for healthcare appointments and grocery shopping, along with food delivery and Meals on Wheels to ensure nourishment reaches those in need. Our compassionate team also offers visitation services to combat isolation among the elderly. Additionally, we assist with minor home repairs, yard clean-up, and snow removal for residents over 90 without family support. Collaborating with the Rhode Island State Division of Elderly Affairs, we facilitate the Senior Companion Program, empowering senior volunteers aged 60 and above to engage in meaningful service with a stipend honoring their commitment. Our mission is to support independent living and foster a sense of community for seniors, ensuring they remain connected and cared for.
