MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in West Greenwich, RI, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities undergoes annual screening for obesity, with personalized referrals to diverse weight management services that cater to their individual preferences and needs. We offer a variety of care options including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! for at-home support, as well as the MOVE! Coach mobile app for those who prefer a self-directed approach. For Veterans facing ongoing challenges with weight, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery after exploring other avenues.
