Rhode Island WIC is dedicated to nurturing the health of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, along with their infants and children up to five years old. Our mission is to promote healthy eating habits through comprehensive nutrition education, providing vital supplemental foods, and offering breastfeeding support. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have adapted our services to ensure the safety of our clients and staff, now offering remote consultations and mailing benefits directly or adding them to eWIC cards for easy access. Families in West Warwick and throughout the state are encouraged to reach out to their local WIC clinics to understand how to access our essential food assistance services, ensuring every child has the best start in life during these challenging times.
