Located in Wood River Junction, RI, the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association (PWSA) is dedicated to empowering individuals diagnosed with Prader-Willi syndrome and offering vital support to their families and caregivers. Our Family Support program is committed to providing accurate information, parent mentoring, and educational resources that focus on nutritional guidance and meal planning tailored to the unique needs of those affected. We also assist families with behavior management techniques and navigating the complex processes of applying for Medicaid, insurance coverage, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), and Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI). Families can easily connect with our local PWSA chapter or join one of our supportive Facebook groups for further assistance and community engagement.
