Based in Wyoming, RI, the Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program is designed for individuals recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, offering a comprehensive and supportive learning experience over a 12-month period, free of charge. Participants will receive six informative e-booklets tailored to guide them through diabetes and its management, alongside monthly e-newsletters filled with seasonal tips and valuable resources available in both English and Spanish. The program also promotes community engagement by providing information about local events. Enrollees can enhance their journey by submitting their phone number to join our monthly 'Ask the Experts' Q&A series, where they can pose diabetes-related questions directly to ADA experts, learn about the critical connection between diabetes and heart health, and enjoy giveaways that assist them in thriving despite their diagnosis.
