The Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program in Andrews, SC is designed for individuals who have recently been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. This free, supportive program spans 12 months and fosters gradual learning about diabetes management in both English and Spanish. Participants receive six informative e-booklets tailored to their stage of diagnosis, as well as a monthly e-newsletter that features seasonal tips and local event information. By submitting their phone number, enrollees can also join our monthly Ask the Experts Q&A series, where they can engage with ADA experts to address diabetes concerns, explore the connection between diabetes and heart health, and participate in exciting giveaways. Our mission is to empower those living with diabetes to thrive by providing essential resources in a caring and accessible manner.
