Located in Andrews, SC, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened for obesity each year and connected with tailored weight management options that prioritize their individual needs and preferences. We offer a variety of resources, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! program, which allows for in-home support. For those who prefer self-guided weight management, our MOVE! Coach mobile app provides valuable tools and resources. Additionally, we facilitate access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who continue to face challenges.
