The Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program in Beaufort, SC, is dedicated to supporting individuals recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes through a comprehensive, free, and accessible curriculum over a 12-month period. This program provides essential resources, including six informative e-booklets tailored to guide participants in their diabetes management journey, and a monthly e-newsletter filled with seasonal tips in both English and Spanish. Participants are also informed about local community events and offered a unique opportunity to connect with ADA experts during our monthly Q&A series, where they can ask questions regarding diabetes and heart health. By encouraging engagement and fostering a supportive environment, we empower individuals to thrive and take control of their health with confidence.
