The Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP), offered by the USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture and Clemson University Cooperative Extension Service in Chapin, SC, is dedicated to enhancing nutrition and wellness through practical, hands-on education. Our engaging 10-session program equips adults and families with essential skills in four core areas: diet quality, food resource management, food safety, and food security. Participants receive tailored nutrition education that includes interactive lessons in group or individual settings, and upon completion, they earn a Certificate of Achievement. EFNEP ensures that families learn to plan healthy meals, prepare delicious recipes, maintain food safety, save money on groceries, and increase physical activity.
