Emergency and Basic Needs Assistance, based in Charleston, SC, is dedicated to uplifting low-income individuals and families through vital services that address immediate hardships and pave the way for a brighter future. Our compassionate team of social workers offers food assistance, including access to our food pantry and senior food boxes, as well as financial support for utilities and rent to ensure basic needs are met. Additionally, we provide clothing assistance and job resources to empower clients toward self-sufficiency. Clients are welcome to utilize the food pantry every three months and the clothing pantry monthly, with the opportunity for financial assistance available annually. We collaborate with other non-profits to broaden our network of support, ensuring every neighbor can access the help they deserve.
