MOVE! Weight Management Program in Charleston, SC, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion initiatives. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened annually for obesity and connected to tailored weight management services that align with their unique needs and preferences. We offer a variety of care options, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which provides in-home support through messaging and clinician contact. For those who prefer self-directed management, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is also available. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who have not achieved their goals through our program.
