MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Chesnee, SC, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at our VA facilities is screened annually for obesity and guided towards personalized weight management services that align with their unique needs and preferences. We offer a range of treatment options, including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which provides in-home messaging and clinician support. For those who prefer self-management, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available to assist Veterans in their journey. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for those who continue to face challenges after participating in our program.
