The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, located in Chester, SC, offers a transformative opportunity for individuals passionate about building a fair and sustainable food system. Through our program, Fellows are empowered and trained to become advocates and educators dedicated to promoting social, environmental, and economic justice in food systems. We provide invaluable organic food system education without the burden of tuition, ensuring accessibility for all. Throughout the six-month experiential training at our Allegheny Farm Campus, selected Fellows engage in hands-on learning and community projects, working collaboratively with local organizations to grow and distribute diverse crops, implement health-focused educational sessions, maintain gardens, and mentor future cohorts. Our mission extends into community action, as we aim to increase access to healthy foods and support initiatives like farmers markets and food coalitions. Applications are accepted until March each year, with program experiences running from May to October, inviting dedicated individuals to join us in making a significant impact in their communities.
